Give credit where credit is due has always been my motto. The internet certainly adds an element of uncertainty to what is “useable”. When you consider the vast age range of people who are on the web accessing all forms of data it certainly is not surprising that many are not even aware of which rules apply and how they apply. Bottom line, Blood, Sweat, & Tears identifies the owner and if you did not create it, ask permisson before using it.
